Healthtrust Europe (HTE)

The Wholesale & Distribution Services 2025 framework was established by HealthTrust Europe LLP acting on behalf of Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Amazon Business is awarded under Lot 2 (Marketplace).

The framework provides eligible organisations with a compliant procurement route to Amazon Business, whether for contracted categories, consolidated indirect procurement, or ad-hoc purchasing. Amazon Business is free to use; there are no fees for procuring via the framework.

The framework also covers invoiced purchasing via Invoice by Amazon (IBA), enabling organisations to pay on invoice terms rather than at point of order.

  • No. Many organisations procure directly through Amazon Business without a framework. The HTE framework is an option for those who require a formal compliance route, for example, to satisfy internal governance policies or external audit requirements.

  • Eligible Participating Authorities can call off the framework by completing the Call-Off agreement and the Customer Access Form. Your dedicated account team will guide you through each step. Contact ab-health@amazon.com to get started.

  • Amazon operates seller vetting processes to identify and remove high-risk sellers. Programmes including Brand Registry, Transparency (product serialisation), and Project Zero help protect intellectual property and combat counterfeits. Supply Chain Standards and a Supplier Code of Conduct apply to all sellers. The A-to-Z Guarantee ensures customers can receive a refund if a product doesn’t arrive or isn’t as described.

  • No. Amazon Business is free to use. There are no registration fees, subscription fees, or additional charges for procuring via the HTE framework. You pay only for the products you purchase.
