This commitment led to the establishment of SI Supply in 2004, BWH Hotels Italy & Malta's dedicated purchasing centre. This initiative enables affiliated entrepreneurs to operate as a unified entity in the market, streamlining purchasing operations and leveraging economies of scale to secure better commercial terms that would be impossible to achieve individually.
Currently, SI Supply serves over 650 hospitality sector clients (including 170 BWH-branded properties) across more than 100 destinations in Italy, encompassing hotels, resorts, bars, and restaurants. The need to balance standardised procurement processes while maintaining flexibility and efficiency led to the strategic partnership with Amazon Business.
The collaboration between SI Supply and Amazon Business, launched in June 2024, marks a significant milestone in corporate procurement. This partnership streamlines order management, enhances delivery efficiency nationwide, and standardises procurement processes across all affiliated properties.
Through the Associated Accounts Program (AAP), members can either link their existing Amazon Business account or create a new one under SI Supply's umbrella, accessing preferential terms and an intuitive purchasing platform.
With AAP, each affiliate benefits from a dedicated credit line of 1,500 euros for deferred payments at 30 days end of month, allowing for greater flexibility in liquidity management.
